As It Subsides

Music has always been a place where people find comfort.  A song can remind a person that they are not alone in their feelings or experiences.  It can remind someone of loved and cherished memories.

As it Subsides, the musical project of Singer/Songwriter Adam Churchwell, is an ongoing journel.  He shares the experiences and tribulations he, and his loved one have gone through.

His new album, "The Comfort of Home" shares a great deal of his experiences as a new father and husband.  Songs like "We're Down" and "Just Begun" tell us of the trials we face trying to stregthen ourselves so we in turn, can be a strength for others.  All while eclipsing you in beautiful and entrancing acoustic melodies.

On the opposite spectrum, Adam shares tales of his past and the hard road he faced to get where he is.  Songs like "The Flood" and "My Place in the Sun" touch on Adam's battle with depression and drug addiction. Serving as a reminder that we are not alone in our quests to better our lives and our battles to find happiness.

Life has it's ups and downs.  "The Comfort of Home" is a great reminder on how to find the balance and appreciate what good you have.
